A new website Macfarlanes, reflective of the stature, quality and spirit of the firm, which would help to revitalise the brand for the modern world, without losing its heritage.

 

Little Moments of Joy 

Christmas 2020. The one where most of us couldn’t spend the holiday doing what we love most. For Fossil, new products, but no physical place to display them. How could we capture the imaginations of consumers locked in at home? And get Fossil on everyone’s wish lists?

Our idea centred around the concept of ‘Little moments of joy’ which was all about celebrating shared festive experiences in a time where we weren’t able to celebrate them together.

What better way to capture them than in the original holiday miniature? The snowglobe became the perfect place to capture those little holiday moments we can all connect with.

We teamed up with French miniature artist Duo Minimiam to create four distinct seasonal scenes from across Europe that featured as part of an integrated PR and social campaign.

Fossil’s watches and jewelery became the centre pieces of each diorama, beautifully crafting them into each scene. A watch strap became a ski jumping slope, a heart shaped gold pendant became the decoration at the top of a Christmas tree.

 
 
 
 

I’d always wanted to work with a miniature artist so this project was a dream come true! I came up with the original concept and collaborated closely with Minimiam to develop and art direct the final four scenes, working with Fossil’s design system to roll out the final assets across social and PR.
